hey man, its just an m4 bolt, im not sure of the exact dimensions i just set the mech in my lowest gear, then just measured the size of the gap that the bracket needed to fill, admittedly it took a couple of attempts to get the bracket the right size! works perfect though

2 coats of primer, and about 4-5 of white paint then a couple of thin layers of laquer, make sure you tape off where the grips and levers etc, go otherwise they wont fit over the thick layer of paint.
